Athlete: Anthony Hutcherson Hometown: White Springs, Florida Sport Competing in at World Games: Team Basketball Age: 16 Number of Years in Special Olympics: 8 Other Sports Athlete Competes in/Has Competed in: Track and Field and Volleyball About: Anthony became involved with Special Olympics in the third grade where he participated in track and field. He would eventually add volleyball and basketball to his repertoire, winning numerous medals in all sports. Anthony is currently a sophomore at Hamilton County High School and this will be his first trip to a World Games. Anthony says Special Olympics is “good for him” and “keeps him out of trouble.” And his goal for the World Games is straight-forward: “to win.”
