Athlete Input Council (AIC) meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Parkside Fellowship Church in Longwood.  All athletes are invited to attend!

  • Athlete Leaders Richard Mendola and Chris Friedman, along with mentor Kevin Lajeunesse, volunteered their time at Nathaniel’s Hope Make ‘Em Smile event at Lake Eola on June 5, 2010.
  • Athlete Leader Richard Mendola, along with Speech Coach Amy Wooley, successfully completed Global Messenger Training in April 2009.

Get Involved!

Mentors:  We are currently recruiting mentors to assist in our Athlete Leadership Programs.

Speech Coaches:  We are currently recruiting speech coaches to assist in our Athlete Leadership Programs. 

Global Messengers:  If you want to be an ambassador and spokesperson for your county, and receive training to enhance your speaking abilities, this program is for YOU! 

Athlete Leaders:  We are always needing Athlete Leaders to be available for speaking engagements, fund-raising events, competitions, serve as committee members, and to participate on the County Input Council.

Athlete Volunteers:  Athletes are always welcome to assist at competitions, family activities, fundraisers, school or agency activities, etc.  This is an opportunity for athletes not currently involved in ALPs, to enjoy the ALPs experience.
