TheSpecial Olympics World Games are the world's largest
inclusive sports event. Over 7,000 athletes with intellectual
disabilities from 190 nations will compete together in 26 team and individual sports for 9 days.
The Games will promote the ideals of acceptance and inclusion through sport, and showcase the athleticism and abilities of people with intellectual disabilities, while highlighting Special Olympics’ work in sport, education, health and community-building.
