The preliminary divisions for the Individual Skills Competition (ISC) will be categorized by age and gender – with groupings of approximately 4 athletes in each preliminary division. Once the preliminary rounds have concluded, the athletes will be re-divisioned based upon the scores achieved in the preliminary round. The final divisions will be created based upon by the divisioning criteria of Special Olympics (using age, gender and ability level as factors – there may be cases where genders and ages are combined to create the best competitive divisions).
