Making a Splash at the Swim for Inclusion

They’re off and running – and swimming – in the 2022 Race for Inclusion. The first event was held on September 24 at Lucky’s Lake in Orlando. The Swim for Inclusion drew about 65 swimmers who took on the 1,000-yard, open-water course.

Huge shout out to six swimmers who completed the Big Kahuna Challenge, by swimming the course 10 times! The group included three Special Olympics Florida athletes – Joshua Olds, Jeff Lovett and Layla Crehan – and three supporters, Nicole Euler, Madison Miracle and Karl Kuchma.

We’re very grateful to Orlando dermatologist Lucky Meisenheimer for hosting this event, and for being a longtime supporter of Special Olympics Florida and our athletes.

Several other Race for Inclusion events will take place between now and mid-December. You can register for a race near you at raceforinclusion.org. Sign up today to help the athletes of Special Olympics Florida and be part of the Inclusion Revolution.
