Celebrating the 2026 Athlete and Coach of the Year
Special Olympics Florida celebrated two outstanding members of its community at the 2026 Champions Gala, honoring Victoria “Tori” Bilyk-Seguine of the Northeast Region as its 2026 Athlete of the Year and David Hawk of the Northwest Region as its 2026 Coach of the Year.
Bilyk-Seguine has built an impressive track record at Special Olympics Florida in just over five years. A gifted multi-sport athlete who competes in soccer, bowling, swimming, golf, flag football, and equestrian, she has earned more than 100 medals at Area, Regional, and State competitions. At the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, she captured a gold medal in swimming. Beyond competition, Tori serves as an Area and State Athlete Leader and Global Messenger, using her voice to advocate for athletes and inspire greater awareness of the Special Olympics mission.

Hawk has been a Special Olympics Florida coach since 2014, bringing his experience as a collegiate soccer player to the soccer, golf, and cornhole programs. A two-time Team Florida golf coach for the Special Olympics USA Games, he also serves on the State Soccer Sport Resource Team and as a statewide sports trainer. Known for his patience, encouragement, and unwavering belief in every athlete, Hawk has made a tremendous impact both in his local program and across the state.
