The 2025 Champions Gala: "Unstoppable Together"

A huge thank you to everyone who recently attended our 2025 Champions Gala at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort! It was a truly magical night celebrating the strength and spirit of our athletes and the champions who work with us every day to support them. We recognized three incredible award winners at the Gala:

• Jersey Mike’s Subs received the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Award for its tremendous commitment to our mission and our athletes.

• West Region coach Kendell Regas received the Coach of the Year Award for her tireless devotion to helping our athletes reach their true potential.

• Northeast Region athlete Megan Bell was honored as the Athlete of the Year for her inspiring achievements both on and off the field.

The Gala was hosted by WESH 2 anchors Meredith McDonough, a Special Olympics Florida Board member, and Jason Guy. It included a special guest appearance by college football and broadcasting icon Lee Corso and a show-stopping performance by Walt Disney World Resort cast members.
