Special Olympics Florida has once again earned top honors for its strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator. This is the eighth consecutive time Special Olympics Florida has received the organization’s coveted 4-star rating, the highest possible.

Charity Navigator awards the 4-star rating only to those organizations that demonstrate the highest standards of fiscal accountability, openness, and ethical practices. Just 6% of charities evaluated have received at least eight consecutive 4-star ratings.

“Special Olympics Florida’s exceptional 4-star rating sets it apart from its peers and demonstrates its trustworthiness to the public,” said Michael Thatcher, President & CEO of Charity Navigator. “Based on its 4-star rating, people can trust that their donations are going to a financially responsible and ethical charity when they decide to support Special Olympics Florida.”
