NFL Shows Their Support for Special Olympics

As part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign, players can advocate for causes that matter to them by featuring those causes on their game-day spikes.

We are thrilled and grateful that five Florida players chose to be champions for Special Olympics this year.  They are Cameron Brate, Scotty Miller, and Anthony Nelson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Robert Hunt of the Miami Dolphins, and Dare Ogunbowale of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This year, more than 1,000 NFL players took part in My Cause My Cleats. Players have the option to donate their cleats to NFL Auction where you can make their custom cleats yours. All proceeds from sales go to the causes selected by players.

“This is a wonderful gesture by all the players and our friends at the NFL,” said Special Olympics Florida President and CEO Sherry Wheelock. “I can’t thank them enough for supporting our mission.”
