since 1993, the Torch Icon Campaign has been helping people with
intellectual disabilities achieve their dreams.

Toni Marie, Marion County athlete: “I Light the Torch because I am proud to be an athlete in the Special Olympics. I am 59-years-old and still competing thanks to your donations.”
Jeannette, Osceola County coach: “I Light the Torch because I love coaching the athletes to reach their fullest potential and discover their untapped potential. We become such an amazing family and watch each other grow in so many ways.”
Sumter County athlete: “Special Olympics is such an important part of
my life. It opened up a whole new world for me seven years ago. I now
have friends and a feeling of belonging that I never had before. That's
why I always Light the Torch!”
