Going for Gold in South Carolina

Six athletes and two Unified partners recently traveled to South Carolina to represent Special Olympics Florida at the 2025 Special Olympics North America Tennis & Pickleball Championships.

This was the group’s second year participating in the event, and our athletes turned in some great performances:

• TJ Johnson of Lee County secured 3^rd place and 4^th place finishes.

• Matthew Seiler of Lee County captured 2^nd and 3^rd place finishes.

• Ryan Fisher, Thomas Shervington, and Bryan Fisher of Hillsborough County won gold medals.

• Carol Marker of Okeechobee County won a gold medal.
