Inter Miami Wins 2025 Sports Organization of the Year Award

Congratulations to Inter Miami CF for being named our 2025 Sports Organization of the Year! This award honors the sports organization that has made exceptional contributions to the mission of Special Olympics Florida and has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the lives of Special Olympics athletes and all people with intellectual disabilities.

The award was presented to the club during the pre-match ceremony of Inter Miami’s game against LA Galaxy this past August. As part of the day’s events, the Inter Miami CF Special Olympics Unified Team took to the field to compete against LA Galaxy’s Special Olympics Team, highlighting the unifying power of sports.

Since 2021, the Inter Miami CF Unified Team has helped create a world where every individual has the opportunity to shine brightly on the playing field. The Unified team is made up of athletes with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities playing on the same team. We thank Inter Miami CF for their dedication to our mission over the past five years.
