Special Olympics Florida Athlete is a Hall of Famer

Special Olympics Florida athlete Scott Lienard has been inducted into the Seminole County Sports Hall of Fame.

He joins a class that includes a four-sport Oviedo High School star and current coach, a Major League Soccer star, and a golf coach whose teams captured five national titles. Scott was recognized for his contributions and achievements as a sports broadcaster and announcer.
He has been a local sports announcer since 2015, volunteering his talents for multiple Special Olympics events, including the Special Olympics USA Games in 2022. He has also announced local high school sports. In November 2016, Scott graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Orlando.
Scott comes from a family of Special Olympics Florida supporters. His mother, father, and sister are all volunteer coaches.
