Wawa and The Wawa Foundation are always looking for different ways to support the athletes of Special Olympics Florida. We are incredibly proud to celebrate our partnership since 2012. From being with us on the playing field and spearheading in-store promotions, to providing food and beverages at events, serving as volunteers throughout the state, and cheering on our athletes – Wawa’s team members and their unbridled support has been instrumental in our expansion of services and programs to more than 80,000 athletes.
During its long history with Special Olympics, Wawa and The Wawa Foundation have raised more than $1.6 million to support our programs and athletes. The company’s foundation follows a simple, powerful mission: Fulfilling Lives Every Day, by Building Stronger Communities.
