Way to Go Wawa

Special Olympics Florida athletes and representatives were on hand recently to help our corporate partner Wawa break ground on what will become Wawa’s first store in the Tallahassee area. The Community Partnership event marked Wawa’s expansion into the Tallahassee market. The company celebrated by presenting Special Olympics Florida with a $2,500 grant. 

Over the course of our partnership with Wawa, the company has raised more than $1 million to support our athletes through in-store fundraisers and special events. In fact, there’s an in-store campaign benefiting Special Olympics Florida athletes going on now through February 18.
