Congratulations to Our Newest National Banner Schools

By Delanie Ross / Special Olympics Florida

We are proud to celebrate 13 Florida schools that have earned national banner recognition for their commitment to fostering school environments where students of all abilities can learn and compete together.

Through Unified Champion Schools, students with and without intellectual disabilities come together through sports, leadership, and community-wide initiatives to create places where everyone belongs. Schools were selected for this honor for their ongoing commitment to building inclusive school communities and by meeting 10 national standards of excellence.
