Our statewide fundraising campaign is designed to unite communities in support of athletes with intellectual disabilities. The Race for Champions will feature 5K events across Florida, bringing together runners, walkers, supporters, and fundraisers to make a lasting impact.
More than 300 law enforcement agencies are carrying the torch on a 1,500-mile trip through 67 counties starting March 9. The intrastate torch relay will culminate at the Opening Ceremony of our Special Olympics Florida State Games in May when they bring the Flame of Hope™ into the stadium.
On June 20-26, 2026 the brightest beacon of inclusion is headed to Minnesota. And Team Florida will be there! Through the power of sports and inclusion, the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games will spark a change that transforms lives, communities and the world.
