Fundraising Events and Promotions

Every year, Special Olympics Florida holds several major specialty fundraising events as well as ongoing fundraising programs, that help support our local Special Olympics programs.  These are great ways to get involved and help raise money, all while having a lot of FUN!

Special Olympics USA Women play for the gold medal against Special Olympics Guatemala.

Special Olympics Unified Cup 2022 hosted 32 men’s and women’s soccer teams -– nearly 600 athletes with and without intellectual disabilities -– from up to 31 nations from July 31 through August 8.   Read more about three players from Special Olympics Florida who will participating in this event.

The finals will be broadcast from Keyworth Stadium –- home of the Detroit City Football Club -– to hundreds of millions of viewers across the globe by ESPN, the Global Broadcast Partner of Special Olympics and the Global Presenting Sponsor of Special Olympics Unified Sports®.

MLS WORKS in partnership with ESPN, Special Olympics and Coca-Cola will come together to host the 7th Special Olympics Unified All-Star Game. In an effort to promote an environment of social inclusion, the Unified Sports® West and East All-Star soccer teams, comprised of individuals with intellectual disabilities (Special Olympic athletes) and without intellectual disabilities (Unified partners) will play in an 11 v. 11 competitive match, outfitted in authentic uniforms provided by adidas, with MLS Greats serving as celebrity coaches.
