Fundraising Events and Promotions

Every year, Special Olympics Florida holds several major specialty fundraising events as well as ongoing fundraising programs, that help support our local Special Olympics programs.  These are great ways to get involved and help raise money, all while having a lot of FUN!

Volunteer Check-in at 7:30 a.m.
Athlete Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
Warm-ups begin at 8:30 a.m.
Competition starts at 9:00 a.m.
The competition ends approximately at 1:00 p.m.

Snacks will be provided for athletes and volunteers.
Water will be provided for athletes, coaches, and volunteers.

Things to Bring:  Sunscreen, towel, snacks, tents, and chairs.


Tip-A-Cop Event

Longhorn Steakhouse, 1381 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte
Tip-A-Cop fundraising events are organized by local law enforcement officers, where they serve as celebrity waiters at restaurants and all of the tips they receive are donated to Special Olympics Florida.

This Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office event is from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
