Fundraising Events and Promotions

Every year, Special Olympics Florida holds several major specialty fundraising events as well as ongoing fundraising programs, that help support our local Special Olympics programs.  These are great ways to get involved and help raise money, all while having a lot of FUN!

Coaches Training School - Surfing

Classroom Session 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.: Introduction, overview, review coach’s resources, paperwork requirements, review rules, & discuss best practices

Water Session 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Review techniques, safety concerns, and best coaching practices

Things to Remember:  Come dressed to participate. Please be sure the coaches have completed their Class A form, Protective Behaviors Training, Concussion Certification and First Aid/CPR certification prior to the training.
